Using the three-dimensional computer technology provided by CEREC, we can produce an all-ceramic copy of the tooth to be treated in its original healthy form and fit this new tooth straight away, all in one single appointment. Whether you need a crown, a partial crown or an inlay – your tooth restoration will fit perfectly and will look completely natural. Yet Cerec is not only able to restore the natural condition of your teeth but can also be used to improve their appearance – through the use of all-ceramic veneers.
Recording
The easy-to-handle Cerec measuring camera creates a 3D representation of the affected tooth or teeth.
Editing
The dentist can then work on the picture on the computer screen. You can watch as the damaged tooth is transformed into a perfectly healthy tooth on the screen.
Finalisation
Once the virtual desired result is complete, the data is forwarded to the Cerec milling and grinding unit. This machine quickly carves out an exact copy of the 3D computer template from a block of ceramic.
Fine adjustment
A few fine adjustments are made to the new replacement tooth, and it is then ready for insertion.
