Decision
If you decide to have treatment at your first appointment, a scan of your dentition will be taken immediately or a small impression taken.
We can then use this to create a precise treatment plan and make your individual splints.
Or you make your decision at home and make a second appointment with us, where we can then take the scan or the impression.
Treatment plan & trays
Your aligners will be ready about two weeks after the scan or impression appointment.
You can then collect them from your practice together with your individual treatment plan and your aligner box. The first pair of aligners will already be fitted there and you will receive further tips on the course of treatment.
The splint is changed every fortnight and the treatment can usually be completed after only six months.

The splint therapy is so simple and self-explanatory that it can be carried out comfortably from home. Nevertheless, you can always ask for professional advice by email, phone or by visiting the practice that looks after you.
Treatment with a dental splint is simple. The splint is worn 22 hours a day and is removed briefly for eating and dental care. While wearing it, it gently moves the teeth into the desired position. The splint needs to be changed at regular intervals so that we can react individually to the development of your teeth. With our aligners, you can easily integrate professional dental treatment into your everyday life.
Yes, you can do that perfectly. The splint is so discreet and perfectly fitted that you hardly notice it. Your voice sounds completely normal to your conversation partners and the splint is not visually noticeable either. You would have to look very closely for that.
In order to achieve the desired result within the individually set time frame, the splint should only be removed for eating, drinking, brushing teeth and in rare exceptional cases. A total of 22 hours of wearing time per day is planned. Since the splint is visually unobtrusive and does not interfere with pronunciation, you can wear it at work without any problems.
The number of splints and the duration of treatment depend on the degree of malposition – but you will usually notice the big difference in your smile after a very short time!
The consultation appointment and also the treatment plan are free of charge and without obligation. So if you decide against treatment, there are no costs for you. If you decide to have our aligner therapy, the overall package includes consultation appointments with your dentist and the final check-up appointment in addition to the aligners intended for you. The advantage of aligner therapy is that you can do it comfortably on your own. Nevertheless, questions always come up or you would like to get a professional interim assessment. In these cases, you can contact your supervising dentist at any time without incurring additional costs.
During your visit to our dental practice, an individual diagnosis will be made. These findings are made by an experienced dentist and the costs are calculated on the basis of the scale of fees for dentists. In your treatment plan, which you will receive before the therapy begins, the course of the therapy and its total price is fixed. There are no additional costs during and after the treatment. The total price depends on the severity of the malposition to be corrected and how many splints are needed to achieve your desired result.
Thanks to modern technology and the great experience of our dentists and dental technicians, our treatments lead to the desired result almost one hundred percent of the time. The prerequisite for this is, of course, that the patient wears their aligners 22 hours a day and changes the trays accordingly. We are always happy to offer advice and support. If, despite this, the desired result is not achieved after the planned treatment period, you do not have to give up your dream smile. In this case, you will receive a new treatment plan and more trays free of charge.
